Springwood, Sunday March 25 2001, 8.45pm

Two witnesses observed a huge orange yellow golden light to the east, below clouds and moving south for about 3 minutes. It moved in a darting fashion with sharp movements, dropping and rising without noise. Its apparent size was about half a fingernail at arm’s length. Its brightness varied and it was lost behind trees.

The same witness called back to report that at 9.07 he observed a yellow object moving faster than a plane north to south and visible for 1 minute. He confirmed that the earlier object had moved much faster, and had a slightly triangular shape.
