Oakford, West Australia [south of Perth], Sunday June 27 1999, 8.40pm

A man observed 2 orange balls approaching slowly from the west. One light went out and in the same place there appeared a bluish light which sped off in a second. The other light kept moving steadily for 10 to 15 minutes. The light which sped off was seen for 5 to 10 minutes. It was visible as a blue light for about 2 seconds before speeding off. The apparent size of the orange ball was that of a five cent coin at arm’s length. It was perfectly round and passed overhead. There were 4 witnesses to this incident, no noise was heard, and apart from the changes already described the lights maintained constant brightness. The sky was clear except for a bit of cloud lower on the horizon.
