Manly West, Sunday August 8 1999, 6.50pm

A woman observed a cone shaped object to the west above the Gateway Bridge moving north. It looked like an ice cream cone on it’s side with the ice cream part leading. It was seen for 6 seconds moving horizontally then faded out. Where it faded what looked like silver glitter appeared in the sky falling down. When the glitter was about half way to the ground it turned into big bright balls of light which were seen for about 2 minutes. When these balls faded away the glitter reappeared and continued descending. She lost track of these objects behind obstructions. There was no cloud in the sky and the woman had contacted several TV stations with her sighting.
