Gilgandra, NSW, Monday 22 June 2009, 7.00pm

This evening around 7.00pm at Gilgandra NSW I was observing the skies whilst having a cigarette outside. Looking to the southeast horizon I spotted what I thought was a star of average size. The sky was cloudless and I watched the star move in a northerly direction. At first I thought ‘oh! a falling star,’ but it remained moving northwest at a speed faster than a plane and higher than they fly. It had no unusual colour like planes emit. I continued watching it and it headed west then north for around 10 or more seconds and definitely was not fading or decreasing in altitude. I raced inside to ask my boyfriend to come see it and or explain it, but by the time he came outside and looked to the northwest it had disappeared from view.

I felt totally sure this was a very fast and intelligent form of travel craft/UFO as it changed direction swiftly and covered a huge area with seeming ease and accuracy. I felt privileged to witness this craft, whatever it was, and am not fearful of it.
So, it started in the southeast, heading north, then northwest and it totally confused me due to its strange direction. It covered a huge area with such ease. I hope it was what I believed it to be and look forward to seeing another in the future. It has seriously convinced me that there are intelligent craft in our skies.
