Forest Lake, Monday April 3 2000, 7.10pm

A couple observed a bright flashing light travelling north as they looked east along the air traffic flight path. It was travelling higher than the planes usually do and the flashing light would at times become intense then dim. It was 3 to 4 times larger than a star and was travelling a slightly elliptical path at 60 degrees elevation above the horizon at first then lowering to 45 degrees. It was observed for 5 minutes.
