Fast moving, steady bright light, no flashing, turned red and left atmosphere

On 8 November, 2019, four witnesses observed what we thought was at first a satellite around 1900 AESTin Elanora, QLD. The object was a steady bright light. the size of a large star, but much brighter (like LED light brightness). It moved in a north easterly direction from the south across the border of Northern NSW. The night of significant and unprecedented bush fires in NSW. We noticed the light began to grow smaller and turn a red colour as it appeared to accelerate and ascended out of the atmosphere and view within mili-seconds. This is the second time I have seen a similar occurrence with the same witnesses in the same location, however, the craft was in a different direction. It was so clear and obvious amongst the stationary stars and could be seen close to the earth and distinguishable as not a satellite or aircraft.
