Brighton, Monday August 8 1999, 9.40pm

A man observed a big, dull, fast moving object high up in the western sky, moving north to south. It’s apparent size was that of a small fingernail at arm’s length. As it moved it did a 45 degree turn to the southwest. It was round in shape, seemed to generate it’s own light, made no sound and appeared like a cloud with fuzzy edges in the night sky. The witness said he was shaken by the sighting.
