The Pascagoula UFO Incident - via Skype with Philip Mantle (UK)
On the 11 October 1973, something very strange happened to co-workers Calvin Parker and Charles Hickson. Deciding to go fishing after work off a local pier on the Pascagoula River in Mississippi, they were soon approached by blue hazy lights before being overtaken by a larger light. Then three robotic creatures appeared and subdued them by injection before floating them inside a nearby craft. Here they underwent various tests and more injections to subdue them even further, leaving them conscious but paralysed. They were then subjected to examinations before being returned to the river bank.
Taking off in their car the two terrified witnesses eventually located a public telephone box and phoned the local sheriff. A short time later they were being interviewed at the sheriff’s office. These two disoriented witnesses told the story of their close encounter and abduction by these strange creatures. Despite their wishes for the incident to remain quiet, within days Pascagoula became the centre of an international news story.
Calvin Parker was seriously disturbed by these events so he chose to remain in the background without ever detailing the full account of what happened that night, how it affected him and his life, and other close encounters he has experienced since then. In 2018, with the aid of his publisher, UK UFO researcher, Philip Mantle, Calvin's story was published for the first time in a book entitled PASCAGOULA-THE CLOSEST ENCOUNTER: MY STORY.
Philip was instrumental in gathering the background information on the case including many newspaper articles from that time, and a long forgotten audio recording of a hypnotic regression of Calvin by the late UFO abduction investigator, Budd Hopkins.
